Tex-Mex Meatballs Recipe

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, chili powder, ground cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and browned on the outside.
While the meatballs are baking, heat the salsa in a saucepan over medium heat until warmed through.
Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a serving dish.
Pour the warmed salsa over the meatballs, coating them evenly.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the meatballs.
Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro if desired.
Serve the Tex-Mex Meatballs hot as an appetizer or main dish.
