Strawberry Pie


1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Place the pre-made pie crust in a pie dish, pressing it down and crimping the edges as desired.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until the strawberries are evenly coated.
4. Pour the strawberry mixture into the prepared pie crust, spreading it out evenly.
5. Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
6. Remove the pie from the oven and allow it to cool completely before slicing and serving.
7. Serve slices of the pie with whipped cream, if desired.
