Pillsbury’s Crescent Roll Taco Bake

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until cooked through. Drain any excess grease.

3. Add the taco seasoning, water, tomato sauce, and diced green chilies (if using) to the skillet with the ground beef. Stir well to combine. Simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

4. Stir in the refried beans until well incorporated into the meat mixture. Continue to cook for a few more minutes until heated through.

5. Transfer the meat and bean mixture to a 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

6. Unroll the Pillsbury crescent rolls and separate them into triangles. Place the crescent roll triangles on top of the meat mixture, slightly overlapping each other to create a crust.

7. Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crescent roll crust is golden brown and cooked through.

8. Remove the casserole from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.

9. Return the casserole to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

10. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

11. Serve the Pillsbury Crescent Roll Taco Bake hot, topped with your favorite toppings such as sour cream, diced tomatoes, chopped lettuce, and sliced black olives, if desired.

Enjoy the delicious combination of seasoned ground beef, refried beans, and cheesy crescent roll crust in this flavorful Taco Bake. It’s a satisfying and easy-to-make dish that the whole family will love.
