Peach Delight Upside-Down Cake


Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter and mix with brown sugar and cinnamon. Pour into a round baking dish.
Arrange the sliced peaches on top of the butter and sugar mixture in the baking dish.
In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, cream together 1/2 cup butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture alternately with milk, starting and ending with flour.
Spoon the batter over the peaches in the baking dish.
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a plate to serve.
