Paula Deen’s 5-Minute Fudge


1. Prepare the Mixture:
– In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt.
– Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Continue to boil and stir for 5 minutes.

2. Add Chocolate:
– After 5 minutes, add the semi-sweet chocolate chips to the saucepan.
– Stir until the chocolate chips are completely melted and the mixture is smooth.

3. Incorporate Remaining Ingredients:
– Remove the saucepan from the heat.
– Stir in the vanilla extract, chopped pecans, and mini marshmallows. Continue stirring until the marshmallows are melted and well incorporated.

4. Cool and Cut:
– Pour the fudge mixture into a shallow 8-inch square pan.
– Allow the fudge to cool completely before cutting into squares.
