Mom bakes pine cones on a cookie sheet for this brilliant reason

Ingredients
Gallon Ziploc bag that you can seal
Large bowl or sink with water
Pinecones
Essential oils of choice (e.g., lavender, cinnamon, clove, peppermint)
Baking sheet
Instructions:
1. Clean pinecones by soaking them in water for an hour. Preheat oven to 200 degrees F.
2. Bake pinecones for 30 minutes.
3. Transfer cooled pinecones to a Ziploc bag.
4 Add 30 drops of essential oils, seal the bag, and shake.
5. Let pinecones sit undisturbed for one to two weeks to absorb the fragrance.
