Limoncello Tiramisu


LEMON CURD
In a small pot, combine whole eggs, egg yolks, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Remove from heat; stir in butter one cube at a time. Strain through a sieve and cool completely.
TIRAMISU
Line a 9×9″ pan with parchment paper. Whisk egg yolks and sugar in a bowl set over a pot of boiling water until warm and fluffy.
Add mascarpone cheese; whisk until smooth. In another bowl, whip cream and vanilla to firm peaks; fold into mascarpone mixture.
Dip ladyfingers in limoncello; layer in pan. Cover with half the mascarpone cream; repeat layers. Top with lemon curd.
Chill for 6 hours or overnight. Serve garnished with whipped cream and lemon slices.
