John Wayne Casserole

 Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a 9×13 baking dish with pan spray.
2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked with no pink remaining. Drain the fat, then add the diced onion and bell pepper. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.
3. Stir in the taco seasoning, green chiles, and Rotel, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until the mixture is heated through and slightly thickened.
4. In a small bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, and ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
5. Press the biscuits from the can into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, stretching and pinching them as needed to cover the entire bottom. Bake the biscuits for 12 minutes.
6. After baking the biscuits, layer them with the beef mixture. Spread the creamy mixture evenly over the top, then sprinkle with the remaining 2 cups of cheddar cheese.
7. Bake the casserole for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and starts to brown. Serve immediately.
