Italian Drunken Noodles


Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the Italian sausage and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
Add onions, salt, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes, cooking until onions are translucent.
Stir in bell peppers and garlic, sautéing for about 2 minutes.
Deglaze the pan with white wine, allowing it to reduce slightly.
Add diced tomatoes with their juice, bring to a simmer, and cook for about 10 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Toss the cooked pasta with the sausage mixture. Stir in basil and parsley just before serving.
Serve with a generous sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
