Italian Drunken Noodles


In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbly, about 5-7 minutes. Remove sausage and set aside.
In the same skillet, add onions and bell peppers, sautรฉing until softened, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
Season with salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and oregano. Pour in white wine and diced tomatoes. Bring to a simmer.
Add the cooked sausage back to the skillet. Simmer for about 10 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Meanwhile, cook egg noodles according to package instructions; drain well.
Toss the noodles with the sausage and pepper sauce. Stir in chopped basil.
Serve hot, sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese.
