Instantaneous decrease in blood sugar! What a wonderful recipe!

One can of washed and drained chickpeas

olive oil, 2 tablespoons

1/4 teaspoon of cumin powder

Smoked paprika, 1/2 teaspoon

Toss with salt and pepper.

Garnish with optionally fresh parsley or cilantro

Instructions:

Roll out some parchment paper or aluminum foil and get your oven preheated to 400°F, or 200°C.

After draining and rinsing the chickpeas, place them in a mixing bowl and cover them equally with olive oil, ground cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

Make sure the seasoned chickpeas don’t overload the baking pan as you spread them out in a single layer.

To get crispy and golden brown chickpeas, roast them in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through.

After taking the roasted chickpeas out of the oven, give them a little time to cool down before you eat them.

Add some fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish if you want, and savor it as a healthy snack or dinner on its own.
