I take 1 lemon and 3 eggs. A fragrant lemon cake that melts in your mouth: bake it every day

Fragrant pastries with raisins and candied fruits have always captivated with their taste. Cupcakes have been and remain a popular dessert for most. The ancient Romans knew that cupcakes were delicious and sweet. It was in Rome that cupcakes began to be prepared.

Baking from the past is very different from what we have now. The Romans made a cake from barley mass, to which they added raisins, pomegranate seeds, nuts and honey.

Cupcakes were later revived in the 16th century. They began to be baked everywhere for rich people. Now everyone can afford a cupcake. It’s better, of course, to make the cake yourself.

Ingredients for the cupcake:

  • Sugar – 200 g;
  • Salt – a pinch;
  • Zest of one lemon;
  • Juice of ½ lemon – 50 ml;
  • Butter – 120 g;
  • Milk – 100 g;
  • Flour – 250 g;
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp;
  • Eggs – 3 pcs.

Ingredients for fudge:

  • Condensed milk – 100 ml;
  • Lemon juice – 2 tbsp.

Preparing the cake:

Pour lemon zest into sugar and grind the ingredients. Add soft butter to the mixture and mix. Break one egg into the mixture and continue mixing.

Sift flour and baking powder into the prepared mixture and knead into a thick dough. Pour lemon juice and milk into the dough and mix.
