Greek Chicken Gyros Recipe

Greek yoghurt, one cup
1 drained and grated cucumber
2 minced garlic cloves
1/4 teaspoon of lemon juice
Chop 1 tablespoon of fresh dill.
Garnish with salt and pepper as desired.
In order to provide:
three pita breads
1 sliced tomato and 1 thinly sliced red onion
New leaf lettuce

What to do:
Gently coat the chicken with the marinade:
To make the dressing, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Before adding the chicken thighs, coat them well with the marinade. Put the lid on and chill for at least an hour, or better still, all night.
Whip up the tzatziki;
Greek yogurt, cucumber (both shredded and drained), garlic (minced), lemon juice, dill (chopped), salt, and pepper should all be combined in a separate dish. To let flavors to combine, cover and chill.
Saute the chicken:
In a skillet or grill set over medium-high heat cook the meat. When the chicken is completely cooked and slightly browned, remove it from the marinade and grill it for about 6 to 7 minutes each side. After taking it off the fire, let it a few minutes to rest before slicing it thin.
Put the gyros together:
Pita breads may be warmed in a dry skillet or over a grill. Top each pita with a few pieces of cooked chicken, then add tomato, red onion, and lettuce.
Spread a good amount of tzatziki sauce on top of each gyro.
Place the order:
Pitas may be rolled up or folded over fillings. Quickly serve while still heated.
