One cup of granulated sugar, two cups of all-purpose flour, and one tablespoon of baking powder
12 tablespoons of cold and shredded butter; 1/2 teaspoon of salt; 1/2 cup of boiling water
With Regards to the Cinnamon Sugar Glaze:
Ingredients: – 1/3 cup of granulated sugar – 2 tablespoons chopped cinnamon
Instructions:
Start by getting the oven to 425°F.
2. Mix the peaches, lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cornstarch, and salt in a big bowl. Add 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Before transferring to a 9×13-inch baking dish, mix everything together.
Third, bake for ten minutes. Get the topping ready while the peach filling bakes:
4. Combine the flour, salt, baking powder, and 1 cup sugar in a separate, clean basin. Whisk to combine. Toss in the shredded butter until well combined.
Fastly stir in the water that has been brought to a boil, just until incorporated. 5. There will be lumps in the batter.
6. After taking the baking dish out of the oven, pour the topping generously over the contents.
7. For the topping, mix the sugar and cinnamon together and then sprinkle it on top. It should take about 25 to 30 minutes in the oven until the top becomes golden and the filling bubbles.
8. Top with vanilla ice cream and savor the flavors!
Keep an eye on it since it can bubble over, so be sure to set it on a baking sheet.
