Creamy Cheddar Chicken Penne


Directions:
1. Cook the penne pasta as per the instructions on the package until it’s just right; then drain it and keep it aside.
2. Season the chicken strips with some salt and pepper. Heat up some olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, and cook the chicken until it’s nicely golden and fully cooked, which usually takes around 6 to 8 minutes. Once done, remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
3. In the same skillet, toss in the onions and garlic, and sauté them until the onions turn translucent.
4. Pour in the chicken broth and let it come to a simmer. Then, add in the heavy cream and cheddar cheese. Stir it all up until the cheese melts completely and you’ve got a smooth, creamy sauce.
5. Bring the cooked chicken back to the skillet and add the cooked penne pasta. Mix everything together well until the pasta is all coated nicely with that creamy sauce.
6. Serve it up hot, and sprinkle some chopped parsley on top for that final touch.
