Cheesy Ranch Potatoes and Smoked Sausage


Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Brown the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until cooked through. Set aside.
Sauté onions and garlic in the same skillet until translucent.
Combine ingredients in a large mixing bowl: diced potatoes, cooked sausage, sautéed onions and garlic, shredded cheese, ranch dressing mix, milk, and melted butter. Season with salt and pepper.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
Bake covered with aluminum foil for 60 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
