Baked Cream Cheese Spaghetti

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) so it’s ready when your dish is all set.
2. Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions until it’s just right – not too soft, not too firm. When it’s done, drain it and set it aside.
3. In a mixing bowl, blend together the softened cream cheese and sour cream until it’s nice and smooth. This creamy mix is going to add some serious richness to your dish.
4. Grab a skillet and set it over medium heat. Brown the ground beef until it’s cooked through. Once it’s done, drain off any extra fat.
5. Stir in the marinara sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning into the cooked ground beef. Let it all simmer together for about 5 minutes to really get those flavors cozying up to each other. Season it up with salt and pepper to your liking.
6. Now comes the fun part – assembling the dish! Grab a baking dish and start layering. First, half of your cooked spaghetti goes in.
7. Next up, spread that creamy mix of cream cheese and sour cream over the spaghetti layer, making sure it’s spread out evenly.
8. Spoon the beefy sauce over the cream cheese layer, covering it up completely.
9. Sprinkle half of your shredded mozzarella cheese over the beefy sauce layer, because let’s be honest, you can never have too much cheese!
10. Repeat the layers, starting with the remaining spaghetti, then the cream cheese mix, beef sauce, and finally, the rest of the shredded mozzarella cheese.
11. With all your layers lovingly assembled, pop the baking dish into the preheated oven and let it bake for 25-30 minutes, or until that cheese on top is golden brown and oh-so-bubbly.
12. Once it’s reached cheesy perfection, take it out of the oven and give it a few minutes to cool down before digging in. Enjoy your comforting, creamy, cheesy goodness!
